MetroQuality & safety

→Quality, safety & environmental care

Product integrity.Responsible operation.

Metro's planned quality, safety and environmental processes are intended to protect customers, people and the communities in which the business will operate.

Planned standards

  1. 01

    Product suitability and traceability

Supply proposals will identify the required product specification. Supplier documentation, certificates of analysis and agreed acceptance procedures will support product verification. Handling arrangements will preserve product identity and separate incompatible grades.

  2. 02

    Accurate measurement

The intended operating approach includes equipment maintenance, appropriate checks and documented measurement records. Quantity concerns will be investigated using the relevant transaction and equipment information.

  3. 03

    Safe handling and delivery

Operating procedures will address tanker movements, product receipt, emergency response, fire protection and supervised maintenance. Employees and contractors will receive training appropriate to their responsibilities.

  4. 04

    Environmental care

Our development approach includes spill prevention, leak response, drainage management and responsible waste handling. Identified defects and unsafe conditions will require corrective action.

  5. 05

    Listening and improving

A clear route for reporting product, quantity or service concerns will support timely investigation and fair resolution. Findings will inform training, maintenance and improvements to operating procedures.
